About the Archive

The Alexei Navalny Archive is a project dedicated to collecting and preserving his legacy — including social media posts, videos, writings, investigations, documents, campaign materials, and other important records of the time.
Our aim is to ensure that these materials remain accessible in a clear, structured, and easy-to-use format. The archive is intended both as a record of key events and as a working resource for anyone studying contemporary Russian politics, anti-corruption efforts, and the history of the opposition movement.
Growing the Archive
We are continuing to collect, catalogue, and publish new materials.
You can contribute to the archive. Suggest materials for publication, report an error, or share ideas for the future of the project — you can contact the archive team at archive@navalny.com.
To follow the development of the archive and hear about new publications, subscribe for updates.
About the English translations
Most materials on this site have been translated into English using AI tools.
However, this approach has its limitations: short and informal texts are more difficult to translate accurately. For this reason, we have not translated Twitter posts, where nuance, tone, and meaning are often lost. At the same time, translations are available for most other materials, including transcripts of YouTube videos, which typically require less additional context.
The Team Behind the Archive
The Alexei Navalny Archive is a project of Yulia Navalnaya.
It is created by members of Alexei Navalny’s team, together with volunteers, editors, designers, and developers. The introductory film was created by Plains of Yonder.
Our work does not end with the launch of the site. The Archive will continue to grow as new materials are gathered, processed, and added to the collection.
