In April 2014, navalny.com was launched as a separate website after Russia’s media regulator, Roskomnadzor, blocked Navalny’s LiveJournal blog at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office and added it to the state registry of banned websites. In the summer of 2021, navalny.com itself was blocked in Russia. Despite the ban, the website continued to operate and publish new content. Since June 4, 2026, the site has hosted the Alexei Navalny Archive. The original version of the website remains available at blog.navalny.com.
