That disgusting hypocrite Zheleznyak is simply a model member of United Russia.
All day long he churns out talk of patriotism, “warriors of the Russian spirit,” and “it hurts for the state” (a common Russian patriotic phrase).
He’s decked himself out in St. George ribbons (a Russian military-patriotic symbol). He’s denounced Europe as rotten and decaying.
And all the while, he quietly has a Cypriot offshore company of his own (horror of horrors—it’s Europe, after all), plus a stake in a yacht club. He declared none of it. Then he sold the stake—and once again failed to declare the income. Most likely he moved it into another offshore company.
Tomorrow he’ll probably put two St. George ribbons on his profile picture.
And as for Zhora Alburov and ACF’s investigative department—they’ve done great work. Keep it up.
