Yesterday Yulia took part in collecting signatures for Lyubov Sobol (and by the way, do read Sergei Parkhomenko’s post about her).
Lyuba has put together an excellent team — join them: http://sobollubov.ru/#volonteram
These are the final days of signature collection, and your help is urgently needed. Half a day of your time could make the decisive difference in finally getting decent deputies into the Moscow City Duma.
Every candidate on this list needs your help. United Russia candidates get signatures as if by themselves, while independents have to work incredibly hard for them. Pick the one you like and help them.
If I weren’t under arrest, I’d gladly be out there myself — standing at campaign cubes (street canvassing stands) and collecting signatures. It’s important work, and useful too.
But since the arrest is, in fact, real, I’ll continue my self-improvement as a PlayStation master, while my wife will spend the weekend helping the candidates.
Today she plans to work with Nikolai Lyaskin’s campaign headquarters. Tomorrow, it’ll be some other candidate from the list, depending on who needs the most help. Pay attention to Lyaskin: in his district, United Russia didn’t even put forward a candidate — they know he would crush them. City Hall’s strategy with him is to keep him off the ballot. So we need to push a little harder and help Kolya with signatures. If you’re ready to be a signature collector, don’t put it off — come today: phone 8 (917) 537-24-81 (Lena), or write to team@lyaskin2014.ru and they’ll contact you right away. Information about campaign cubes (street canvassing stands) and pickets is here: https://vk.com/lyaskinmgd2014
And once again: here’s the list — find the candidate you want to help, and help them. There are five days left until the end of signature collection. This is the most important moment.
