Here we go for another round. The “Yves Rocher case,” which the Zamoskvoretsky District Court sent back to the prosecutor’s office because of serious violations in the indictment, has now returned to the Zamoskvoretsky District Court.

I received the indictment—it is exactly the same as before. So my assumption that they had sent the case back in order to avoid embarrassing themselves with a criminal trial in which the supposed victim says he is no victim at all turned out to be wrong.

I don’t even know what they have come up with this time. More likely, they did not come up with anything at all. What is there to come up with? As if anything is actually decided in court.

But in any case, on August 1 there will be another preliminary hearing in the case (it is a technical one, so it will be closed. They will not consider the substance of the case there, and no one will be allowed into the courtroom). After that, they will schedule open hearings (I hope), and everyone will get a sense of déjà vu.

Sorry, I understand that you are tired of the endless, repetitive updates from my endless, repetitive court proceedings.

As they said in a well-known film: it’s not us—it’s life that’s like this.

P.S. Everything you need to refresh your memory and recall what the “Yves Rocher case” is can be found here.
