The State Duma (Russia’s lower house of parliament) has passed a law increasing budget payments to political parties.
Previously, any party that received more than 3% of the vote was paid 50 rubles per vote each year; now it will be 110 rubles per vote.

This is not such a bad thing, if you set aside the nagging question that keeps popping into your head: "How on earth does the YABLOKO party manage to spend so much money?" At the very least, it makes the sources of party funding clearer.
And it creates an additional, rather interesting incentive for voters: decide which party you want to give your 110 rubles to.
And taking into account the five-year term of office and the annual payments, it becomes: decide which party you want to give your 550 rubles to.
