This is, of course, one of the most spectacular stories in the history of "Dissernet".
Minister Kolokoltsev’s doctoral dissertation (apparently he is still a minister for now) turned out not just to be plagiarized,
it was copied from another general—Ivanov from the Federal Drug Control Service.
Apparently, one departmental research institute churns out all these doctoral dissertations for generals.
But even more striking is that it was Vladimir Kolokoltsev himself who not long ago proposed criminal prosecution for people whose doctoral dissertations contain plagiarism.
It will be very interesting to hear what he has to say now.
