A few weeks ago, we quietly released the “Navalny” app — in other words, this blog for iPhones.

All this time, we’ve been actively testing it, and yesterday subscribers to the #Navalny_Thursday mailing list were the first to hear about our little gem. The app is good-looking, polished, and lets you read the latest posts and share them on social media. Even so, we already have big plans for improving and expanding it.

A lot of people are laughing at the description.

Sorry to disappoint, but there won’t be any gambling or violence (additional violence, that is) anytime soon.

Because the blog contains links to external sources, the App Store automatically gives the app its highest age rating and, just to be safe, warns users about practically everything under the sun.

So go ahead: download itinstall it.

A reminder of one important thing about the app: it cannot be blocked. In other words, no matter what restrictions RosKomCensorship (a sarcastic reference to Russia’s media regulator) imposes on this blog, you’ll still be able to read it through the app.

We want to express our boundless gratitude to the developers who created this app on a volunteer basis. Thank you, friends!

P.S. A lot of people are asking whether there will be an Android and iPad version of the app. Yes, there will. We hope to release it as early as the beginning of 2015.

P.P.S. Vote for the ratification of Article 20 of the UN Convention. We’re almost there. Just a little over 11 thousand to go.
