Slava (he used to work for the ACF, the Anti-Corruption Foundation) dug up an excellent story. "Shaltai," which publishes all sorts of secrets about the Kremlin riffraff, once posted reports from United Russia's Young Guard. They contain fairly standard paperwork showing how young grifters make money by pretending to do actual work:
Legally, all of this goes through a company called "OST-Media," registered at a mass-registration address (an official criterion the tax authorities use to identify shell companies).
This "OST-Media" is headed by a clown named Ruslan Ostashko, who, among other things, records nightmare-inducing videos about Putin's greatness (watch with caution, it may burn your eyes out):

Here he is sitting in the Kremlin during Putin's latest address. Judging by the look on his face, he's thinking about something sacred—Ancient Korsun, probably:
But don't rush to laugh at Ruslan Ostashko or call him nasty names—he'll be the one laughing at you, you paupers.
Slava found that this creep alone received 100 million rubles in state contracts funded from the budget (about 1 million USD at a rough modern equivalent). From Churov's election commission alone, he got 25,000,000 rubles.
And of course, special attention should go to the wonderful story of a Ministry of Culture contract under which 9 million rubles were paid out for an event (in the U.S.!!) that had taken place seven months before the contract was even signed.
Anyway, give it a read. It's all very enlightening: the boys aren't bulging their eyes and singing the praises of Ancient Korsun for free.
And don't forget to vote for the bill on combating illicit enrichment. There are almost 95,000 signatures already. Not much more to go.
