Hello everyone, this is Leonid Volkov.
We very much want the anti-crisis march “Spring” on March 1 to be an unusual, memorable, and well-organized event.
We have already done a great deal to make that happen, and the “Spring” march is unlike our previous actions. For the first time, we are running a major online and offline outreach campaign ahead of the march; for the first time, we are acting proactively rather than reactively: we chose the date ourselves, without tying it to any actions by the authorities, and we are trying to shape and impose our own agenda. For that to happen—for the “Spring” march to become an effective political tool—it must be powerful, coordinated, and vivid.
To make that happen, we have come up with several new ideas that no one has tried before, and we will try to put them into practice on March 1. And yes, we will need your help—just a little.
If you are reading this, you were most likely planning to come to the “Spring” march anyway. So if you are already going, maybe you could help us a little with the organizing? After all, it is more interesting to be more than just one number in the statistics and to make your own contribution to the march’s success. Most of the activities we are proposing do not require any extra time and fit easily alongside simply taking part in the march. Your participation will just become richer and more meaningful—and later you will be able to tell your grandchildren: “On that day, I was part of the organizing team—I was painting people’s cheeks!”
So.
