Nikolai Rogozhkin, the presidential envoy to Siberia, said that a group of “oppositionist arsonists” may be behind the fires in Zabaykalsky Krai (a region in eastern Siberia). http://tayga.info/news/2015/04/17/~120814
This is just brilliant. The government’s playbook: a) appoint incompetent people to senior positions, people incapable of handling the basic tasks of governing; b) drink everything away, c) let everything fall apart, d) steal everything that isn’t nailed down, e) blame it all on opposition arsonists, f) keep on stealing and drinking.
Just so you understand. This official presidential envoy, a man who spent his whole life in uniform, SUDDENLY turned out to own 22 land plots, 7 houses, 3 bathhouses, and stables. Even *Komsomolskaya Pravda* (a mass-circulation Russian tabloid) is surprised.
And of course—because someone like Rogozhkin simply couldn’t do without this—the general-envoy’s dissertation was 100% plagiarized. The whole thing, literally. Apparently the “opposition plagiarists” planted that too.
