If you think the absurd "poster case" ended with Zhora Alburov being sentenced to 240 hours of compulsory community service, you are mistaken.
The case is still "working." This morning, Nikita Kulachenkov from the ACF (Anti-Corruption Foundation) investigations department was arrested in absentia and placed on an international wanted list (!!!) in connection with it. You probably know him, at the very least, from his sanctions explainer.
How can one not think of our dear Zhenya Vasilyeva, who got a suspended sentence for embezzling 3 billion rubles, and Tolyan Serdyukov, who did not spend a single day in the defendant’s dock, was amnestied, and then placed back in government service.
Let me remind you that we recently published an investigation into how Serdyukov’s son continues calmly acquiring property "privatized" by his father and Vasilyeva.
Why do we need a state like this and courts like these?
By the way, the person who ordered Nikita’s arrest was the notorious Judge Dudar, who serves as a rubber stamp for whatever fabrications the Investigative Committee produces.
Here is a previously unpublished exclusive from "Dissernet" about the dissertation of this prominent legal expert.
A person with a stolen dissertation is stealing freedom from innocent people.
As for Dudar, we are filing a complaint with the judicial qualifications commission, and we are sending Nikita our full support.
