Oh, as I understand it, polling results have come in from the city of Novosibirsk on participation in the elections for the Democratic Coalition based on RPR-PARNAS.

Apparently, the polling looks good for us:

Local crook-deputies immediately introduced a law under which the information of signature gatherers will have to be notarized (in the region, 11,000 signatures must be submitted, meaning 15,000 will need to be collected), and the signature collection period is being cut from 40 days to 30.

Brechalov, the head of the pointless Public Chamber (a state advisory body) and at the same time a leader of Putin’s ONF (All-Russia People’s Front), classified the region as one of the most protest-prone, remarking: after visiting Novosibirsk Region, he got the impression that local residents don’t care “what they are protesting against or what they are protesting for”. Sure, those silly Siberians just live there and protest for fun. Never mind that Novosibirsk is one of the country’s major scientific centers—Brechalov from the ONF is obviously smarter than anyone in Akademgorodok (Novosibirsk’s famous science and research district). After all, he wears glasses and loves Putin very much.

These are the kinds of things people should remember and crush at the ballot box—the authors of this law (and their parties), who presume to decide for Siberians who gets to run in elections and who does not, as well as the brazen crooks from United Russia and the ONF who speak so contemptuously about this vast region.

A reminder that candidate registration is underway for the primaries to form the Democratic Coalition’s candidate list.

The primary rules are published here.
