I’m sure that if researchers studying premium-flight traffic looked at the names of the people who switched to private jets despite the financial crisis, they would find so many government officials and employees of state-owned companies that they would stop making such hasty claims.
It seems to me, unfortunately, that the logic is the opposite: not “the economy is growing, so business jets are flying to London,” but rather “even Rosstat officially records an economic downturn in Russia, and that’s why more and more business jets are flying to London.”
