In Novosibirsk Region, where the primaries to determine the election slate have already taken place, we submitted our documents to the election commission yesterday. Thanks to the lawyers who heroically worked around the clock. Under local law, the slate must include 100 (one hundred) candidates, and preparing the paperwork for all of them is an absolutely epic task, even considering that we started working on it well in advance.
The folder containing the nomination documents weighed 20 kg, and the election commission spent nine hours checking it. On Friday we are opening the campaign bank account, after which we will be able to print signature sheets and begin collecting signatures. Seventy-eight signature gatherers have already completed training.
Here, Volkov writes in detail about collecting signatures. If you would like to get involved in this work, that opportunity will be available soon. A huge amount of work is planned.
In Kaluga, voter registration is continuing. Don’t wait—register right now. Four polling stations are ready to open. Tomorrow, June 18, the candidate debates will take place.
In Kostroma, two polling stations are ready to open, and the debates will be held on June 21. Voters, register here.
All in all, life is intense for us right now, but interesting.
If you want to help us in some way, please write to people you know in Kaluga and Kostroma Regions about our primaries, and encourage them to register and support the candidates they like. This matters.
