Excellent. Our Magadan team, which is running an anti-corruption slate in the regional elections under the RPR-PARNAS banner, has collected the signatures.

They didn’t need very many there, but it’s still a terrific result, because the overwhelming majority of the signatures were collected personally by slate leader Georgy Alburov, his campaign manager Dmitry Kraynev, and campaign coordinator Anna Vellikok.

Now that’s what I call “excellent candidate engagement.” My ideal candidate always takes part in collecting signatures personally. Zhora’s door-to-door visits, which he described so wonderfully, are the best possible work for a candidate in this kind of election.

The signatures (details here) will now be checked against all the databases, reviewed by a handwriting expert, only the most flawless ones will be kept, and then they’ll be submitted to the election commission.

All in all, congratulations to the Magadan team on a job very well done. If you want to help them, then contributing money to the campaign is the best option.

Also, a reminder that we really need money for signature collection in Novosibirsk, where we need a huge number of them and where we’ve deployed a signature-gathering supermachine. Any contribution from you would be extremely helpful—please send one.
