I wanted to start this post with the line, “For the first time in however many years, I made it onto a live broadcast on Russia-1,” but then I realized that I have actually never once in my life been on a live Russia-1 broadcast.
Back when live broadcasts featuring the real opposition were still possible on the “second button” (a colloquial Russian term for one of the main TV channels, here meaning Russia-1), I wasn’t well-known enough to be invited; and from around 2005 onward, I could no longer be invited anywhere at all.
During the mayoral campaign, the debates were on the much less watchable Russia-24.
Funny enough, it was only in 2015 that I first appeared live on a regional Russia-1 broadcast in Kostroma Region, thanks to the election campaign involving RPR-PARNAS, as an authorized representative of the electoral association.

(this is the full version; you can watch the short one, where it’s just me, without the other speakers)
I’m continuing to do my part, and I very much want at least one regional parliament in the country to have a fully independent faction. It matters.
Also, read Novaya’s report about my three-day trip through the region’s towns, and come help as well in this final, decisive week.
