In half an hour, a hearing will begin in St. Petersburg on pretrial restrictions for Alexander Gorbunov, the organizer of the attack on Kashin.
Gorbunov, who headed one of the factories owned by Governor Turchak’s family (and who, it appears, was the one who ordered the attack), was implicated by security guards from that factory who directly took part in this attempted murder.
While we wait for this hearing, which is of fundamental importance, you can read the petition submitted on Gorbunov’s behalf by Chemezov, the head of the state corporation (!!) Rostec.
Yes, formally Gorbunov is currently under arrest not over the Kashin case, but in a different one—possession of weapons and explosives. But it still looks very telling and says a lot about Rostec, Chemezov, the Turchaks, and this whole wing of the St. Petersburg mafia. A defense plant director was found with a dozen pistols, assault rifles, grenades, and TNT!
Weapons, explosives, and grenades in hidden caches. What were these people preparing for, and what kind of personal involvement from Gorbunov did Chemezov need so badly?
I think we already understand what is meant by "unique experience."
