Those of you who bombarded me with emails asking, “Where are the DMP materials for Kostroma?!” — you were absolutely right to do so. This little blog is read by several thousand people living in the region, and if even one in a hundred can be bothered to print out a flyer and put it up in their apartment building entrance, the reach will be excellent. Especially given that, taking turnout into account, we need 8,000–9,000 votes to clear the threshold.
Here are two flyers devoted to the campaign’s main themes: 1) the unfair distribution of federal budget funds among the regions, and 2) corruption. Plus a simple notice along the lines of: come out and vote.
A step-by-step guide for a resident of Kostroma Region who wants to stick it to United Russia (the ruling political party) and help the Forces of Good:
Choose the flyer you like and print it out on your home printer.
Put it up in your apartment building entrance.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 every time the flyers get torn down.
Post a link to this entry on your social media, urging people to come to the election and take part in DMP.
Don’t be lazy. Constant effort wears down stone.
