Well, since the Russian Ministry of Culture is so concerned about the screening of the film Chaika at Russia’s largest documentary film festival, Artdocfest, that it is demanding that the organizers not dare screen films without a distribution license (clearly referring to Chaika), our investigations department is pleased to present this short video to you.

A speech by the man calling himself the “Russian Minister of Culture” at the opening of the Greek hotel Pomegranate, owned by Prosecutor General’s son Artyom Chaika and Deputy Prosecutor General’s wife Olga Lopatina.

It’s simply delightful how he praises the “investors” and wants the “Year of Russia” events in Greece to be held at the Chaika hotel.

What were you even doing there, Minister of Culture Medinsky?

What ties do you have to the “investors,” the Chaikas and the Lopatinas?

Who paid for the flight? Was it a commercial flight? Who paid for the accommodation?

It seems to us that answering these questions is more important than trying to stop Artdocfest from screening our film.
