The Judgment of Cambyses or The Flaying of the Corrupt Judge is a diptych painting by the Dutch artist Gerard David, completed in 1498. It was painted for the courtroom in Bruges City Hall and was intended as a reminder of the need to judge fairly. It is currently on display at the Municipal Art Gallery in Bruges.
I don’t understand where they found any slander here. Here is the original post. It simply describes the astonishing legal “skill” of “Judge” Borisov, who issued a ruling in a single day in the absence of the plaintiff and the injured party (without even notifying them), without any expert examination, and after rejecting all motions.
The only slander in that post is that no one actually flayed “Judge” Borisov, even though Gerard David clearly painted his diptych for people like him.
I’ve already had a United Russia deputy sue me over the word “drug addict” and bring in a “certificate stating that he is not a drug addict.” So it’s quite possible that soon you’ll see some report like this from my new trial: Judge Borisov of the Nikulinsky District Court arrived at the hearing, undressed, and displayed his skin to those present, thereby proving Navalny guilty of slander.
Interestingly, the Investigative Committee began its inquiry at the request of deputy Vyborny—remember him?
The very same former prosecutor’s office employee who initiated that ridiculous letter from four State Duma deputies in defense of Chaika and the Tsapok gang (a notorious criminal group). And, just like prosecutor Lopatin, who set up companies with the Tsapoks, he too has a wife who is a “businesswoman.”
She earned 40 million rubles (about several hundred thousand U.S. dollars, depending on the exchange rate).
In light of all this, I have two questions for the public:
Does anyone know how deputy Vyborny’s fortunate wife makes her money? If you do, send it anonymously to the Black Box.
Does anyone happen to have a painting called *The Flaying of the Corrupt State Duma Deputy*? It might come in handy.
