On Monday, the film "Chaika" will be released in English. This is not just subtitles, but a full professional English dub. We even adjusted a few things to make them clearer for Western viewers, who are generally unwilling to believe that a system can function in which the prosecutor general is tied to a gang of murderers, while his children became billionaires through state contracts and corporate raiding.
Last night, the BBC News previewed our film to an audience of millions. What irony: it is easier for us to get on the BBC with "Chaika" than on any Russian TV channel, none of which has said a single word so far about our investigation.
The report is available here: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35388686
Update. I phrased the post badly, and the word "previewed" was misleading—many people thought that the BBC would broadcast "Chaika" in full. That is not the case, of course. We dubbed it into English, and the BBC produced a report about the film and the investigation (see the link above), saying that the film would be released in English on Monday. It will be freely available on YouTube, and we are granting the rights to it free of charge to any TV companies that want to air it. Several companies from different countries have already received it.
The English dub will make the film much more accessible to English-speaking audiences, but—once again—it will not be shown in full on the BBC.
