Take note of the article by Maxim Mironov, a professor at Spain’s IE Business School. He is known, among other things, for studying large datasets on the transactions of shell companies and publishing research on the subject, so his opinion on the issue of the “Panama Papers” can вполне reasonably be considered expert.
Mironov tries to answer three important questions:
1. Are the transfers to the offshore accounts of Putin’s friend Sergei Roldugin bribes?
2. Is the $2 billion that ended up in Roldugin’s accounts a lot or a little?
3. So who, after all, was Sergei Roldugin taking these bribes for?
That is exactly what I spoke about yesterday on the air of Echo of Moscow (a Russian radio station): we do not have a signed note from Putin saying, “I confirm that Roldugin’s money belongs to me,” but there is a body of evidence that leaves us in no doubt.
The capital of the secret billionaire Sergei Roldugin consists of bribes passed on to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This body of evidence is sufficient for impeachment.
