And many people criticized our "Barvikha experiment". But just look at the remarkable things it has brought to light — you could grab some popcorn and watch how the authorities are trying both to save their own crooks and to convince us that elections will now be fair (after all, the Central Election Commission is new!).

Look:

The Central Election Commission reports, citing the Interior Ministry, that there were no violations in the mass registration of migrants as voters.

However, the prosecutor's office says such violations did occur and may warrant criminal charges.

Today, at a meeting of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova herself said that the Barvikha election commission had illegally destroyed all the documents:

The report on the illegal destruction of the documents was signed by the whole mafia: the chair, the deputy chair, and the commission secretary.

Vildanov, the head of the regional election commission, is playing dumb and says that he does not have the authority to stop violations. Before that, he was saying everything was legal and that there were no violations.

I think this is very simple. There's no need to overcomplicate it. Those who set up these "rubber apartments" (addresses where large numbers of people are fictitiously registered) must face criminal liability. Strictly according to the law. The Barvikha election commission must be dissolved, and its leadership must face administrative and criminal liability for destroying documents and concealing evidence. Strictly according to the law. The head of the Moscow Region election commission must be removed from office. Strictly according to the law. How much longer can this go on? Every election in the region brings falsifications, forgeries, beatings of election observers. And everywhere Vildanov is there, cheerfully saying: we have no violations.

And I myself traveled around the regions with this man back when I was still in the YABLOKO party (a Russian liberal political party), monitoring elections. We fought fraud. Back then, Vildanov was a great guy and a competent lawyer. Now he has turned into something downright monstrous.

He must resign — people this odious cannot be running elections in the country's second most populous region. I do not understand how the new Central Election Commission can possibly work with him.

ACF candidates in the Barvikha election will insist on these three demands being carried out.
