Sometimes I feel like shouting, just like a character from a famous film: Am I the only one here who’s supposed to campaign against United Russia?!
I’m not even allowed to take part in the elections. And where are all the other parties? Where is the campaign? Where are the ads denouncing the crooks and thieves?
Polling data clearly shows that United Russia’s ratings are falling, but for that to do any good, those lost points have to go somewhere. Someone has to mobilize the anti-United Russia electorate; otherwise, all we do is increase the number of people who stay home on election day. Turnout will fall, and among those who do show up, United Russia will get what it needs thanks to state employees herded to the polls.
All right, I’ve written about this a hundred times already.

We flew over the Sosny dacha cooperative again. The crisis has done nothing to stop these “servants of the people” from finishing their estates. And since two crooked neighbors from Sosny—Volodin and Neverov—have become the leading names on United Russia’s party list, we decided to make a video about it.
With exactly the kind of direct campaigning against United Russia that the parties taking part in the elections are too scared to put out.
