Yulia Navalnaya is at a parents’ meeting at our school in Maryino, taking a photo of a United Russia representative speaking, while that representative’s colleagues are circulating articles claiming that she is not at a parents’ meeting at a school in Maryino, but gambling in a casino in the United States.
That’s Russian political recursion for you.
As I understand it, the sweet little pair of United Russia dacha owners, Volodin and Neverov, got so enraged by our video about their dachas that they ordered their media pros to “put out a hit piece in response to Navalny.”
These media pros turned out to be just as professional as Volodin and Neverov themselves. All they know how to do is forge things and lie.
So their “response” consists of filming Yulia and the children standing in line at the U.S. embassy to get visas for Dasha and Zakhar’s trip to a summer language camp:

Then they filmed them again at the airport, standing in line to board. This was presented as “the Navalny family departing for the United States”:

The children were flying back from camp on their own, and these scumbags with cameras tried to catch them alone, without adults, at Sheremetyevo Airport, but fortunately we got there first and drove the bastards away.
And now for the crowning achievement. This photograph. “Yulia Navalnaya in a casino.”
Those of you who have been reading me for a long time will say: I’ve seen this somewhere before..
Well of course, because this top-secret undercover footage is actually A PHOTOGRAPH FROM MY OWN BLOG. In 2010, Yulia and I celebrated New Year’s in Vegas, and I posted a funny story about how we went to a casino.
And now this is being presented as proof that my family lives in the States, and that Yulia spends her days blowing money “in the company of an unidentified man.”
These crooks, having stolen my own photograph, didn’t even bother to erase the metadata, so it’s still sitting there listed as a photo from 2010. Exclusive.
All of this is fairly funny, but there is one thing about it that I absolutely do not like.
When I am constantly being surveilled, it is essentially illegal, but at least it is covered up by some fabricated criminal cases. And there is at least some political logic to it: to Putin, I am an enemy, so he has me watched in order to gather compromising material.
Here, however, we see that constant surveillance is also being carried out against my children and my wife when they are somewhere without me. And it is clear that this is not just crooks from LifeNews, but a real illegal operational-search activity (a Russian term for covert law-enforcement surveillance operations). People with the ability to tap phone calls and access airline ticket databases are directing those who follow them and record them on camera.
Again, this is not just work based on “paper trails,” as the ACF (Anti-Corruption Foundation) does when it uncovers officials’ property registered in their children’s names, but actual physical surveillance of children in the real world.
In the Russian political reality of recent years, saturated with violence, I find this unacceptable and dangerous.
That is why I am filing an official complaint regarding crimes committed against members of my family: illegal operational-search activity, abuse of office, and violation of privacy.
By the way, take a look at the correspondence of the crook Gabrielyanov about Yulia:
Just so you understand how deeply they have x-rayed our lives, our finances, and our relatives.
And still they have nothing to show for it. Hence “Yulia Navalnaya in a casino.”
PS If you know anything interesting about Volodin and Neverov, send it to the Black Box; it is completely anonymous.
PPS Yulia pointedly showed these videos to Dasha: just so you know, our family is being watched everywhere. Dasha (who had dyed her hair pink before going to camp): my hair color is good, totally fine.
