I’m genuinely stunned reading today’s headlines about pensions in Russia, September 2, 2016:

Rostec is ready to implement the Yarovaya law using Russians’ pension savings.

Olga Golodets did not rule out the complete abolition of the funded portion of pensions.

Golodets announced plans to freeze the funded portion of pensions for 3 years.

Putin refused to treat pensions as a “top-priority” budget expense.

Just wow.

I officially demand that every party that even calls itself “opposition” absolutely crucify United Russia and Putin over this.

It’s an election campaign, and yet the participants seem to have gone completely silent, even though they have such a perfect opportunity right now to rub the authorities’ face in it. So far only we are putting out videos, and that’s just a drop in the bucket. Right now even YABLOKO and PARNAS are getting TV airtime — a perfect opportunity.
