Ella Pamfilova, the head of the Central Election Commission, must resign now. Otherwise, she should face criminal prosecution later.
And it is not even about the fact that she publicly promised to resign if the “elections failed,” but about the fact that there are legal grounds for her removal. And the fact is that if she does not step down now, she becomes a direct accomplice to a crime.
It has already been mathematically proven that 12 million votes were stuffed for United Russia. There are charts, detailed analysis, and extensive discussion, and I have not seen a single serious expert argue against that estimate of the fraud.
Twelve million fake votes. That is more than the population of Greece, the Czech Republic, or Sweden, and here they are simply dumped into ballot boxes as if it were nothing, with no investigation whatsoever.
The internet is once again flooded with videos of election fraud.
Does this count as the “elections having failed”?
But there is also a very specific issue that should be a moment of truth for Pamfilova and the entire Central Election Commission. Either they continue at least pretending to hold “fair elections,” or they are criminals just like Churov (Vladimir Churov, former head of Russia’s Central Election Commission, widely associated with election fraud).
This is Saratov Region. Running there on United Russia’s regional party list was our “summer-house owner”, Vyacheslav Volodin, a key figure on United Russia’s list and, apparently, the future speaker of the State Duma.
For the sake of this high-ranking crook, the election commissions pulled out all the stops and, as often happens, overdid it.
They were evidently instructed to manufacture a result for United Russia equal to 40% of the total registered electorate, but turnout was so low that forcing the numbers to fit that target led to a major inflation of the ruling party’s result.
Mathematics is unforgiving, and this primitive manipulation of the data had a side effect. At 100 (one hundred!) polling stations in this district, United Russia’s result was identical to one decimal place: 62.2%.
Accordingly, the results for the other parties also turned out to be absurdly similar. This is what it looks like:
Everything is described in detail here.
The probability of this is roughly equal to your chances of throwing a tennis ball from Earth and hitting a humanoid in the eye on the planet Omicron Persei 8.
In other words, it is fundamentally impossible.
So we have an ironclad fact: the voting results in Saratov Region were falsified and must be annulled. The fraudster Volodin must be stripped of the parliamentary mandate he obtained through this district.
Since the other parties, as usual, are doing absolutely nothing instead of filing formal complaints, we will do it ourselves.
Today, an official demand is being submitted to the Central Election Commission to annul all voting results in Saratov Region.
In addition, we are demanding the immediate resignation of Pamfilova.
We call on all other parties to join this demand.
And we urge voters and the media to follow this case closely. I repeat: this is a moment of truth for the entire Central Election Commission.
