Every time you run in an election, you end up writing reports from a courtroom. Funny. But on the other hand, it makes one thing clear right away: this is real political competition. They’re afraid.

In court, it’s business as usual for us,

but the campaign is going very well. Thanks to you, and thank you all very much.

Statistics for the first month:

People ready to sign at the crucial moment: 77,648.

That is the number of people who completed the full registration process. One problem is that 113,578 people left their email addresses through https://2018.navalny.com/. So nearly 36,000 people—and we can see that they are real people—couldn’t be bothered to finish filling out the form and put it off for later.

That’s a real shame, my friends. For now, we can’t count those 36,000 on our side, because we need details about where you are. Signature collection is capped by region, so it’s important for us to understand where we have plenty of support and where we don’t.

What do you need to do right now if you didn’t complete the registration process?

If you have already filled out the form but have not confirmed your email address, you absolutely need to do that; otherwise, you will not be able to receive emails from us (only double confirmation of email addresses, or double opt-in, gives us the right to send you mailings). To do this, find the email with the subject line “Registration on 2018.navalny.com” and simply click the link.

Still, 77,000 signatures at this point is very good. In one month, that’s 26% of the target.

An even more impressive number: 17,803 people have signed up as volunteers and want to help with the campaign. Wow.

Money:

Micropayments via Yandex (e-wallets and bank cards): 5.08 million rubles Micropayments via PayPal: 2.14 million rubles Bitcoin: 22.7 BTC, which today is 1.19 million rubles Direct bank transfers: 3.9 million rubles TOTAL: 12.31 million rubles Total number of donors: 6,120

Thank you, each and every one of you.

There are no campaigns without money. So join in—a donation of any size matters.

Our plans, already clearly laid out (for now, very briefly):

We will open 77 campaign offices in 65 regions, with more than 200 people working in them altogether.

In February, we will open 4 offices: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg. In March, another 11 will open (in all the other Russian cities with populations over one million): Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Voronezh, and Volgograd. Anyone interested in working in these offices can send a résumé to 2018@navalny.com; we will conduct a competitive selection process.

This is going to be a great campaign, whether the Kremlin likes it or not.
