An astonishingly brazen response from the Central Bank to my complaint about pressure being put on Yandex.Money and the blocking of the account, which we use to raise money for the campaign.

This has become a fully formed style by now: the best defense is offense. They cheat, they swindle, and then they sneer right in your face.

Read it. Two arguments: — name the employees of ours who supposedly applied the pressure, and, most importantly, — you write "regulator" there, but the Central Bank is not a regulator.

Well, this is absurd. Apparently the Yandex.Money payment system is regulated by the Central Election Commission and Ella Pamfilova, not the Central Bank at all. You have to be unbelievably brazen to say something like that.

We were officially notified that the account would be blocked—and that, according to the Central Bank, means nothing. Of course, that doesn't indicate pressure at all.

Yandex.Money officially announced that it is changing its service rules and will ban everyone from raising money for political activities altogether . Of course, that doesn't indicate pressure either.

The "regulator" mentioned in Yandex's letter is not the Central Bank.

Apparently this isn't about the Central Bank either. It's probably about Sportloto (the Soviet/Russian state lottery) or UNESCO:

So, in other words, everything is forbidden to you. We won't let you raise money. But there was no pressure. You can't say, "Deputy Chairman So-and-so from the Central Bank called such-and-such Yandex.Money employee from such-and-such number on the morning of January 15 and threatened them," so that means there's no evidence. Everything is perfectly clean.

It's like what's happening with me now in the Kirovles case. Can you name the Presidential Administration officials who are giving instructions to Judge Vtyurin? You can't? Then stop slandering our judicial system. Everything is perfectly clean. The court will sort it out.

And what about censorship in the media? Does it even exist? If you think it does, then name the people, one by one, who call the editors-in-chief of Channel One, VGTRK, and NTV and demand that they lie on air. Can't name names? Then apologize to Dmitry Kiselyov. Everything is perfectly clean.

In the beautiful Russia of the future, there will be no such bullshit. Officials who illegally pressure businesses will be handed over to outpatient clinics for experiments.

Subscribe, and together we'll fight this hypocritical pack of crooks.
