I personally might not have bothered suing NTV (a Russian state-aligned TV channel)—it would be too much of an honor for them—but since they are also so brazenly lying about the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF), we decided it was necessary to do so.

There is a lie in practically every word of the "exposé film." And the lies are so glaring and pathetic—it is obvious the whole thing was slapped together in a rush.

At the beginning of the film, I supposedly have gigantic income; by the middle, it is already "his salary is zero." First they emphatically declare that the average salary at ACF is 100,000 rubles (about €1,000 / $1,100), and two minutes later: the foundation's director gets only 50,000 rubles (about €500 / $550). I have already written about the "shares worth tens of millions" . And so on. We even made a short video debunking it—take a look:

For now, the legal action is as follows:

The Anti-Corruption Foundation will challenge in court NTV's false claims about inflated rent and staff salaries.

The Foundation's director, Roman Rubanov, will file a lawsuit seeking to have NTV's completely fabricated claims about his travels and about "20 million rubles passing through his accounts" (about €200,000 / $220,000) признаны false.

I will file lawsuits against both NTV and certain hotels that trade in video recordings of their guests, over violations of privacy and the illegal transfer of video footage to these vile propagandists.
