A great city, and very creative authorities—they helped promote my visit. In the morning there was expanding foam.
In the evening, they decided to make our excellent, well-attended meeting with volunteers even more interesting by adding a bit of action.
Halfway through the meeting, a lieutenant colonel showed up and announced that there was a bomb in the building.
For about 15 minutes, he kept demanding that we leave. Then they actually started evacuating the entire building—and it was a huge office center.
And then the obvious happened: outside, the rally doubled in size, because all the people forced out of the building joined us too. They even evacuated the fitness club inside the building.
Then a fire truck arrived, and we wrapped things up under stylish blue flashing lights.
Thank you, Tomsk! It was great.
