It may sound a little strange, but it’s absolutely true. Starting today, we’ve set up a system for distributing car stickers to campaign volunteers.
If you have already registered as a volunteer on 2018.navalny.com and confirmed your phone number and email address, then today you will receive an email from us with a secret link to the order form. By following it, you will be able to order one of three sticker packs free of charge. You can pick them up at one of the campaign’s open headquarters or have them delivered by Russian Post.
It may seem like car stickers aren’t all that serious, but that’s not the case. Here’s a table with the results of our opinion poll following the 2013 mayoral campaign—take a look:
It surprised us too: compared with street campaign cubes (branded campaign stands) or handing out newspapers, we probably spent 20 times less money and effort on car stickers—yet look at the result. And it makes sense: our roads are in terrible shape, the traffic jams are awful, and every driver will see the stickers several times a day (even if there are only a hundred cars with them in the city). Then, after cursing at yet another pothole, they’ll remember what Alexei Navalny says about corruption and how it affects everyday life.
If you haven’t registered as a volunteer yet but would like to help us, you can do so here — you’ll be able to order stickers free of charge for a whole month, until April 29.
If you have already registered on the website and confirmed your phone number and email, but didn’t indicate that you want to be a volunteer (and you really do want to help us and are ready to do so), then you need to enter your email address on this page: we’ll add you to the list and send you an email with the link.
Order your stickers right now. Of course, only if you’re sure you’ll actually put them on, wear them, and drive with them. Because every sticker is paid for by someone’s donation. If you want there to be more stickers, support the campaign: https://2018.navalny.com/donate/
Stickers are a great way to spread the word about the campaign, and they will make it easier for you to encourage people to register on the website in support of Navalny’s nomination for president of Russia.
