The concept behind our channel was very simple. We understood that we weren’t going to create real television and that we weren’t professionals in this field.
So we made a simple decision: on the channel, we would tell the truth plainly and directly, without any of that “let’s soften it so they don’t come down on us too hard.”
So on the one hand, yes, they do come after us. And very aggressively.
On the other hand, we’ve reached our first million subscribers.
I just found a post from last August: we were looking for a head of video production, and I proudly wrote, “we already have 81,000 subscribers.” A million seemed like a fantastical number back then.
But it turned out that betting on the truth is the best policy.
And now our new live-streaming channel already has 259,000 subscribers as well.
