This police officer in Khabarovsk, desperately snatching a sign reading “Russia Without Corruption” from someone’s hands, is a perfect symbol of today and of our anti-corruption protests.
So you tore the sign away from one person — but what are you going to do with everyone else?
Anti-corruption protests have begun across the country, and once again Russia’s Far East looks especially inspiring. Well done.

Protests were also held in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Magadan, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
And, surprisingly, Kazan joined the Far East today as well. There, the local crooks approved the event for 7 a.m. and at a location 20 (!) kilometers from the city center. Apparently, they wanted news reports saying that only 5 to 7 people in Kazan came out against corruption.
