Some details about the upcoming debate.

I explained in some detail why I agreed to take part in them on my program last Thursday, and then again on the air of Echo of Moscow (a Russian radio station), so I won’t repeat myself here.

The debate itself will take place on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. We wanted to postpone it until closer to August so as not to hold it in the height of summer, but Igor Ivanovich Strelkov’s side did not want to delay it, so we are urgently putting together a studio. We should make it in time.

The broadcast will be streamed on the Navalny LIVE channel and on Strelkov supporters’ channel Roy TV. In addition, Reuters and TV Rain are asking for the broadcast feed. Of course we’ll give it to everyone—we don’t mind; we’re in favor of open discussion.

Mikhail Zygar has kindly agreed to serve as the debate moderator. He will guide the discussion so that everything is fair and the participants have equal opportunities.

In accordance with IIS’s challenge, the debate will be divided into three thematic sections:

Corruption

Relations with the West.

Ukraine, Donbas, Crimea.

In his video, Igor Strelkov publicly asked me three questions and suggested that I do the same.
