A great way to wrap up our campaign tour this week. A wonderful, inspiring rally in Tambov. It was also something of an experiment—we’re no longer being granted permits, so we held it on private property.
A brave and honest local businessman offered up his plot of land next to a shopping center.
The local authorities were upset by our experiment, and all week they used every media outlet they could to scare people: the rally is unauthorized, it will be broken up, people will be arrested, and so on
But it all turned out very well. A lot of people came.
As usual, I invited the United Russia party members present to come up on stage and debate.
This time, the United Russia representative was pretty weak. He just shouted at the top of his lungs: People, go home, this is a rally of American agents.
