I demand an investigation into whether Center “E” (Russia’s anti-extremism police unit) was involved in the attack on me.

It has been 202 days since someone splashed some chemical filth in my face right outside my office.

I’m constantly reminded of it now by my own crooked face (or, well, even more crooked than it was before the incident): in any video—even the latest one—you can see that my right eye is now smaller than my left, and its color is slightly different. On top of that, I have a rather ominous-sounding diagnosis: post-traumatic recurrent corneal erosion, so I have to keep devoting time and attention to it.

So every time I see my crooked face in the mirror, I’m reminded that the police have done absolutely nothing to investigate. In all this time, they haven’t even questioned me as the victim.

The Interior Ministry suspended the case on the grounds that they were unable to establish the whereabouts of the attackers, even though those same attackers are hanging around alongside Interior Ministry representatives at every rally.

We more or less understood why that was anyway.

But now there is evidence as well. The TV channel Dozhd (TV Rain) aired a report in which one of the members of this clown brigade called SERB says outright that they coordinate their actions with Center “E” and even receive money from them:

Personally, I have no doubt that this is exactly how it works. These attacks are ordered and financed by Center “E” of the Russian Interior Ministry. They are carried out by specific officers like this Okopny.

I’m sure the Center “E” officers aren’t doing this on their own initiative, and that they in turn receive their basic instructions from the Kremlin. That is also where their media support comes from. The situation with Lyaskin is an excellent example.

In this connection, today my lawyer Vadim Kobzev filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office and demanded, among other things, that officers of Center “E” of the Russian Interior Ministry be investigated for involvement in the attack and the subsequent obstruction of the investigation.
