I’ll begin today’s program with the radioactive cloud over Chelyabinsk. Thanks to the state media’s light touch, it is already being called a “safe ruthenium cloud.” I can hardly begin any other way, as someone who, until 1986, spent every summer vacation near the city of Chernobyl.
By the way, I’ll be in Chelyabinsk on Sunday. The environmental problems there are monstrous even without the cloud. I’m trying to do my part in supporting the residents’ fight. For example, as a shareholder in VTB and Sberbank, I sent letters to Kostin, Gref, and the independent directors asking them to withdraw support for the trashy and monstrous Tominsky GOK project (a mining and processing plant).
And of course, we’ll also discuss the old oligarch Kerimov, who has been having such bad luck in Nice. His property, his status, and all sorts of other important things.
What else would you like to talk about? Ask in the comments, and the live broadcast will be here at exactly 8:18 p.m.
