The residents of Tatarsk (Novosibirsk Region, population 23,965) are very smart. Be like the people of Tatarsk.

The authorities refuse to solve their problems, so by putting forward their political demands, they are pressuring them in the most painful way possible right now: they are declaring that they will refuse to take part in the elections.

They are facing a public utilities disaster there—there is no gas, even though the main pipeline was built long ago. They wrote letters, collected signatures, and appealed to the prosecutor's office. And now they have announced that, in protest, they will not go to the polls.

Exactly. The answer is obvious. If all officials are busy doing nothing but figuring out how to drag you to the polls, then refuse to go and put forward your demands.

That is the principle behind any strike. And here, we have a voters' strike.

Don't forget to join the strike action on January 28 in your city.
