Interesting how this is turning out. Even Moscow city deputies are now sending an outraged appeal to Sobyanin regarding the January 28 rally. Across the country, it has been officially approved, and only in Moscow and St. Petersburg it has not.
In other words, even one part of the authorities (local deputies) is unhappy with the behavior of another part of the authorities (regional and federal), which has decided that residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg should have even fewer rights than people in the rest of the country.
By the way, many thanks to everyone who signed it. These are real representatives of the people, working for the people.
No matter how many applications we submit. No matter how we file them. The crooks in the Kremlin have made a basic decision: no rally in the capitals organized by people outside their control is to be approved.
There is only one way to resist this: come out. Come out in even greater numbers.
We have to tell ourselves: they will not get away with this trick — “we’ll ban it, and they’ll gradually get used to the idea that they simply do not have those rights.”
