We continue publishing data from our most honest polling service.
Today we once again have a nationwide poll on the candidates’ ratings. We compare it with the previous poll, and we’ve also added data on negative ratings.
The latest data are shown in red.
Everyone knows about the election.
The constant “Come vote” messaging from every direction has increased not only awareness of the candidates, but also—amusingly—awareness of non-candidates. More people have started to think that Zyuganov or Mironov is running in the election. The share of people who have heard of candidate Grudinin has risen by a full 8 percentage points.
If you look at all respondents, only Putin, Zhirinovsky, and Grudinin show any measurable ratings at all. The others effectively do not exist.
If the election were held this Sunday, Putin would win a crushing victory over his pre-selected “competitors.” The competitors are doing absolutely nothing, so their ratings are not changing either.
There is only one suspense point: who is in second place, Grudinin or Zhirinovsky.
Negative ratings were measured for the first time. Predictably, Putin’s is the lowest—we asked the question in the harshest possible wording, and people were simply afraid to admit to a stranger on the phone that they dislike the Guarantor (a common Russian euphemism for the president) that much.
Zhirinovsky used to be the undisputed leader in every negative rating, but now even Yavlinsky has overtaken him. But all of them are left in the dust compared with Sobchak. Her negative rating is 71%, with a lead over the nearest competitor by a factor of 2.5.
Kiriyenko’s idea is working perfectly: “let’s put forward a liberal candidate who will infuriate the whole country and consolidate people around Putin even more.”
Don’t go to these “elections.” You can see perfectly well how this is all set up. It’s a trap for fools.
Instead, take leaflet No. 7 from here, print it out, and carefully post it in your building’s elevator every morning.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers working in our call center and making it possible for everyone to have fresh, honest polling data.
