A great deal has already been said and written about the utterly disgraceful pro-Putin rallies (dubbed “Putings”) held across the country over the weekend.
But this video from the Moscow “Puting” — held with great pomp at Vasilyevsky Spusk (a square next to Red Square in Moscow) — does add some context to the question, “What is happening, and where are we headed?”
It was supposedly about the anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad (or, according to another version, in support of the Olympic athletes). So we asked the participants: what is Stalingrad called now?
