Well, things are approaching the निर्णायक day. Together, we have built the largest network of observers monitoring these “elections” in Russia’s history.
We are boycotting this disgusting procedure, but we do not want Putin to use carousel voting, ballot stuffing, and outright falsification to fabricate a massive turnout and then claim that the whole country recognized the election and came to the polls.
They are desperately trying to destroy our monitoring system, confiscating observer credentials, but we will not give up easily.
By the way, tomorrow a delegation from the strike and monitoring headquarters will meet with Pamfilova (Ella Pamfilova, head of Russia’s Central Election Commission). We’ll see how she comments on all these facts.
But in any case.
We have the most important link. Go there right now and choose your polling station. And if you live in a city with a headquarters office, or can get to one, be sure to come and pick up paper observer credentials.

Chechnya. The very place where “turnout was 99%.” We have received a huge number of messages from there. People write that the election is being totally falsified, but they are afraid to work openly as observers. “We have to live here,” and so on. You can understand why.
There are a couple dozen brave locals willing to serve as observers, but we would like to send a small delegation there as well. There are 53 volunteers who want to monitor the election in Chechnya.
We will discuss their trip separately with Pamfilova tomorrow and propose that she personally guarantee these people’s safety.
The problem is money.
Sending 53 people to Chechnya will cost us 865,000 rubles (about $14,800 at the time): 625,000 for round-trip tickets from Moscow and St. Petersburg, 114,000 for accommodation, and 126,000 for food and transportation around the city.
We need to raise that amount, and if we can, the trip will happen. I am personally contributing 2,000 rubles and urging you to do the same.

It would be extremely useful if people who are not tied to the local authorities and do not depend on them could see this “99% turnout” with their own eyes.
Go to the most important link right now.
And don’t forget to write something every day about why it is so important to boycott the election.
