Here’s what I want to say. It’s election day right now. We do not recognize these “elections,” but we have:

- more than 33,000 people across the country monitoring the vote;

- an operations center up and running;

- a live broadcast of what is happening, and it is currently at the top of YouTube’s trending list;

YouTube video

- we are publishing turnout data faster than the Central Election Commission;

- we have sent observers to the North Caucasus and other regions with “electoral anomalies”;

we have an interactive map with turnout figures and all the data.

And so, both I (not a candidate) and thousands of people across the country (also not candidates, and most of them did not even vote) have spent the whole day reporting violations, ballot stuffing, organized voter transportation, and so on.

And what about our “candidates”? The very same ones who shame the strike participants. The ones who say we are “sitting on the couch.”

I guarantee you that at 9:00 p.m. Moscow time, all of them will say: we got so few votes because of fraud. Are they talking about that now?

Just out of curiosity, I checked the Twitter accounts of the candidates and their parties. Silence. Total calm. At best, there are links to “hotlines.” Many of them have not posted anything for several days.

So if you did not go to these “elections,” you did the right thing.

And if you did go, it was in vain. These candidates do not deserve your vote. They did not try to earn it, and now they are not making the slightest effort to defend it.

Stop supporting people who do not give a damn about you. Otherwise, this is how things will always be.
