I can't stand gloom and whining. Yesterday I saw that I'm not the only one.
Despite the pressure and the bans (even on the eve of the rally, as usual, arrests began at our campaign offices), a huge number of people took to the streets.
In the end, more than 60 cities took full part.
This was very important, and that is our great success. Putin is entering a fifth term and wants to show everyone: I am the master of this country, I will swallow up everything here. Anyone who does not support me sits quietly in silence and does not dare utter a word.
And we showed: no, you won't get that. You are not alone here, and you will not intimidate us.
Yesterday it was a tremendous joy to be among people who are not only smart and honest, but brave as well.

The legal team for the "He Is Not Our Tsar" protest continues its work; we are assisting those who were detained. Together with colleagues from human rights organizations, we will take every unlawful detention all the way to the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights).
Many thanks to everyone who took part and helped in any way. You are the country's finest people and its hope.
We will continue our work no matter what.
