Today at 4:00 p.m., there will be a hearing at the Dorogomilovsky District Court on extending Anna Pavlikova’s detention.

Here I spoke about this case in more detail.

In short: this unfortunate girl was put behind bars by a police provocateur who gathered a group of young people like her through messaging apps and suggested they create an underground organization. He wrote the charter and all that. They did nothing except meet a couple of times under this provocateur’s direction.

All of this is in the case file. “Provocateur” is not a figure of speech. It is literally some bastard in uniform. An “undercover operative,” listed in the case as a witness. Supposedly he was just doing his job. He’ll get an award and an early pension for working as an embedded agent in a group of especially dangerous extremists.

Read about how her previous hearing went. She is sick, miserable, and wants to go home to her mother.

And most importantly: SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ILLEGAL.

There is another girl in the same situation: 19-year-old Maria Dubovik. She is also being held in detention. She is ill; they found a tumor.

Both Pavlikova and Dubovik must be released immediately.

If you want to support Pavlikova today, come to the Dorogomilovsky District Court (36 Studencheskaya Street) at 4:00 p.m.
