The publication Proekt reports that next week Putin will announce a softening of the plans to raise the retirement age.
I’ve said many times that this would definitely happen if we didn’t let up and kept increasing the pressure. In my show, I talk about this in detail. By the way, starting today I’m resuming my Thursday broadcasts. Tune in to Navalny.LIVE at 8:18 p.m.
Why is he doing this now, instead of in the fall, as everyone predicted?
Because there are already groups in nearly 100 cities across the country taking part in the nationwide day of protest against raising the retirement age on September 9.
And of course, Putin doesn’t want to wait. He’s afraid. And he’ll do everything he can to keep turnout as low as possible. Otherwise, he’ll have to make even more concessions.
What should we do in this situation? Exactly: put in even more effort and bring even more people out to the September 9 rallies.
