Hi everyone,
I’ve got big, exciting news for you.
Our Navalny LIVE channel recently turned one year and five months old. In that time, we’ve released 1,136 programs that have been watched nearly 100 million times. We’ve done massive live broadcasts with live check-ins from dozens of cities, produced news shows and morning programs, and invited some fantastic guests. The show Cactus alone has aired 367 times. In short, we built a live-streaming YouTube channel from scratch that now brings joy, I hope, to our 525,995 subscribers.
Honestly, I’m incredibly proud of how it all turned out. I’ll admit, at first it all seemed like some dubious adventure, but in the end it worked—even though, let’s be honest, we’re not really TV people or journalists.
And now for the main news. Like a proper grown-up media outlet, we went offline for a relaunch at the end of August, and on September 3 we went back on the air! Now we have a new studio, new hosts, new guests, new shows—basically, everything is new.
Okay, actually, here’s the real main news.
We’ve got a new producer for the channel too. And you know her well. Lyubov Sobol crumpled up and threw away her honors law degree from Moscow State University, burned her archive of complaints to the Federal Antimonopoly Service in a ritual fire, and reinvented herself as the producer of our YouTube channel. She doesn’t lie, steal, or eat beavers, which automatically makes her the best female producer of the year.
I wish Lyuba every success.
This is Alyona Medvedeva.
Not long ago, you didn’t know her, and now every weekday she co-hosts the live morning show CACTUS with Vitaly Kolesnikov.
Now *CACTUS* will be a little different: a live morning broadcast discussing the social and political agenda. Alongside the news discussion, we’ve added games, sketches, and segments filmed separately for each episode. The program still goes live online at exactly 9:00 a.m.
Here’s an episode of the revamped *CACTUS*:

My show will continue to air every Thursday, but now at 8:00 p.m., and it’s no longer called *Navalny at 20:18*—it’s now *Russia of the Future*. I’ll still be talking about the biggest political news stories and whatever I think is important.
In the evenings on every weekday except Thursday, there’s *By the Facts*. It’s an emotional breakdown of the day’s main events. And really, how can anyone stay calm when the news is about torture, raising the retirement age, or licensing video bloggers?
Here’s one of the episodes that already aired this week:

On Saturday, we’re launching *Special Projects*. These will be pre-recorded videos on a range of topics. This Saturday at 12:00 p.m., the first episode of the special project *Prison* will be released.
The full broadcast and program schedule looks like this:
Starting in October, Vladimir Milov’s program will continue as well, but it too will be updated.
