Hello everyone! And a special hello to great programmers who want to work in a great place.

We’re looking for a Python developer to help us investigate and catch all sorts of nasty thieves and crooks.

We’re getting more and more tasks involving the collection and processing of large datasets—from various registries to data from aircraft transponders. All of this needs to be handled, extracted properly, and systematized. For example, we might say: “Give us a list of all companies that own real estate in Gelendzhik and also have a yacht registered to them,” and you’ll know how to solve that quickly—or maybe even build a convenient internal service for working with that kind of data. Of course, we’ll tell you where to find it and teach you the ropes.

Here are the formal requirements: 0) You must love data and hate crooks 1) Strong command of Python 3, knowledge of PEP 8, and the ability to document code well 2) Practical experience with and basic knowledge of the Pandas package 3) Experience with website scraping and an understanding of HTML and JavaScript 4) Skills in working with MySQL/PostgreSQL 5) Understanding of and experience with git 6) Knowledge of Django, or a willingness to learn it quickly, would be a strong plus 7) An even bigger plus would be familiarity with the Sklearn and Keras/TensorFlow packages

This is a full-time, in-office position at ACF (the Anti-Corruption Foundation); no “remote work from Thailand” (sorry). Salary will depend on your experience and the interview.

Write to us, send your résumé, and tell us what you can do.
